THE IMPORTANCE OF A TSA LOCK

During the checked-luggage screening process at an airport, sometimes an interior inspection of luggage is warranted. If your luggage is locked with a non-TSA accepted lock, Transportation Security Administration officers are authorized to cutting the lock open for interior access.

To provide an alternative to this, the TSA has worked with several companies to develop specialized locks that tin be opened past airdrome security officers with universal keys, and this lock is one of them. Now you can travel with peace of mind knowing your belongings are secured while traveling and able to be inspected by the TSA without damage to your lock.
